Exactly 10 years on, boasts a successful, ever-growing and vibrant business. 

  Being a proudly family-owned business, we understand the love and care involved in running a successful barbershop. This is why placing our clients at the forefront of our attention to detail both in our cuts and our working environment has always been our number 1 priority. 

 Mankind offers traditional barbering to suit all client needs. But we take education extremely seriously. Our barbers are all taught to diversify, in order to stay relevant to current styles. 

 Our professional staff believe that a “Mankind experience” begins at the door and continues into everyday life.

I’m the manager of the Mankind Crawley store. 

I’ve been cutting hair for 11 years and with the company for 5 years.

Starting with women’s hairdressing at the age of 17, then making the step to Male grooming at 21, it gives me multiple dimensional ranges of skills acquired. 

My job allows me to meet people on a daily basis, form relationships with them and ultimately fix their hair problems and assist with their style requests. 

I’m constantly learning new things and strive to be the best. I’m skilled in all aspects of barbering. Fades and blending. But also classic scissor cuts. I love me a scissor cut. Most of my clients will tell you too... I love trying new styles. Whatever is best for them.

So barbering kinda found me....and it’s been the best thing that has, It’s not anything I thought I would ever do!, but I’m so glad I took that leap and just went for it.

I’ve realised it’s not just cutting someone’s hair and that’s it, it’s about making the client feel good and confident about themselves as soon as they first take a seat and then leaves your chair. 

The bond you build with each client you would never get in any other job...not that it ever feels like work (especially with 3 children at home, it’s nice to escape 😄 ) these clients become friends.

Learning new skills regularly from other barbers around me keeps me excited for the future!

I can’t wait for you all to come along on this new journey of mine and create some amazing cuts for you all...
